Full Job DescriptionJOB PURPOSE
This position is responsible for guarding and protecting the property, customers, employees and company assets while offering excellent customer service to internal and external guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Escorts and observes customers and employees to ensure their safety and protection, according to Gaming Commission and company policies and procedures.
- Generates written reports according to company policies and procedures when necessary.
- Ensures safe transportation of company moneys and gaming tokens; assists in the opening and closing of the gaming tables.
- Maintains a series of keys, accessing locked areas as necessary.
- Accepts identification from all persons who appear to be under the legal age to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming regulations.
- Acts as a dispatcher during emergency situations and coordinates solutions to same, informs outside agencies of any unusual or suspicious situations on proper.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
- Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, employees, management, and other departments in facilitating the flow of information throughout the property.
- Deals tactfully with guests when handling unexpected situations, finding solutions that ensure customer satisfaction with minimal financial impact on Casino operations.
- Operates as an emergency Pull/Count Team member as required.
- May be required to perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- High School diploma/GED, and any law enforcement or gaming security training preferred. Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to sit, walk or stand for prolonged periods of time as required, performing the assigned duties of this position.
- Must be reliable, punctual and cooperative with co-workers and managers.
- Maintain a professional and even tempered demeanor in a high stress environment.
- Use of all Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for spreadsheet, reporting, and presentation development.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards guests, co-workers, and other department staff.
- Ability to work in areas containing high noise levels and second hand smoke.
LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people.
- Ability to verbally communicate using appropriate English standards of language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.
LICENSING
Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, State, Federal and/or Wyandotte Nation law.

- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 50# (fifty pounds) in emergency situations.
- The noise levels in the work environment are constant.
- Ability to function in a smoking environment.
- Employee smoking is restricted to outside location and during break times.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
