Job Description
Job Duties:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the analyzation and preparation of payrolls for all college employees. The Payroll Specialist will assist the Payroll Administrator with other office duties as needed
Required knowledge and skills:
A. Fundamental mathematics and experience working with spreadsheets and/or financial records.
B. Computer competence in data entry, word processing and the ability to learn new software applications.
C. Excellent customer relations, organizational, planning, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
D. Capable of problem solving and adapting to unique situations.
Required experience:
A. Two years bookkeeping/accounting or related experience.
B. One year payroll experience preferred.
