Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for receiving and shipping of all merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Receives deliveries of stock, including unloading inbound materials. Receives returned goods and arranges for special shipping orders of stock and non-stock items. Prepares and ships inter-Company transfers.
- Prepares and packages orders for delivery according to customer’s instructions.
- Stocks inventory in proper places in stock bins. Alerts manager/and or purchasing dept of discrepancies in inventory counts. Alerts manager/purchasing dept of low inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
- Attends training sessions and department meetings as requested.
- Serves as the backup to the delivery driver and the counter sales.
