Your role:
To support the Quality Control department by sampling raw materials for quality control testing and completing auxiliary functions such as supply stocking, inventory, filing, data entry, and basic laboratory testing which may include weighing of samples, setting up preparation work, stocking laboratory, daily checks, laboratory cleaning processes, autoclaving goods, biohazard removal, sample receipt, environmental sampling and sample distribution. These activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures following site quality and safety standards.
This position will have attention to detail, ability to manage daily tasks both individually and as part of a team, and compliance to site quality and safety standards. Strong knowledge of job specific standard operating procedures, including making judgements on updates and providing solutions to problems based on practices and existing precedents. Participate in daily departmental meetings, stay current with quality and safety training, and ensure all documentation is compliant with the principles of Data Integrity. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision. Perform peer review as aligned with training and in accordance with approved procedures.
Physical Attributes: lift 20lbs and perform job functions while wearing respirator and appropriate PPE
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 4+ years relevant work experience in a regulated GxP environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Increased responsibility and autonomy
• Meet or exceed on performance reviews
• Working knowledge of global quality standards
