Description
Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R) is considered one of the greater developments of the 20th century. The demand for skilled technicians is on the rise as the world continues to focus on energy efficiency. As a result of the expanding markets for refrigeration and air conditioning, along with changing technology, qualified personnel are needed both at home and abroad. The HVAC-R program at Seward County Community College is designed to teach the appropriate skills needed for this field. Students train with state-of-the-art equipment and learn techniques to diagnose, repair, and install commercial and residential refrigeration and furnace systems.
