Description
Barton’s Automotive Technology Program is recognized by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). This assures Barton’s automotive program meets the standards of excellence established by automotive professionals and educators nationwide.
Ensuring that each student is well prepared for successful employment, Barton provides classroom instruction and hands-on experience in utilizing state-of-the-art equipment in a large modern shop. Second-year students enrolled in the Service Techniques course learn to diagnose and repair customer vehicles as they would in a professional garage. This experience boosts the transition from student to professional technician.
Job opportunities abound in the automotive service industry, and Barton’s automotive instructors assist students in job placement according to their particular interests. Employment opportunities include automotive technician, service adviser, parts specialist, shop foreman and service manager.
