Description
This 100-hour course focuses on the fundamentals of assigning codes from ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS. Student will learn coding skills to identify diagnoses and procedures in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, to format and use coding in index and report creation, prospective payment, and other types of reimbursement systems, and to prepare HCFA-1500 and UB-92 insurance forms.
