Description
This program provides comprehensive training designed to equip students to serve as a Reimbursement and Electronic Health Records Specialist as well as be ready to earn certification as a Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) and a Medical Coder and Biller Certification (MCBC), providing support to healthcare providers. This program covers topics such as regulatory compliance related to consent, auditing, HIPAA, and PHI in the process of medical access and billing, the revenue cycle and the process of medical billing in order to transmit forms, and differentiate between clinical and nonclinical operations with use of the electronic health record.
