Description
The Early Childhood Professional program is designed to provide training in the processes and principles of growth and development of children from infancy through six years of age. Emphasis is placed on social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in addition to support services relating to children. Upon completion of the program, students have opportunities for employment in child care centers and state institutions as paraprofessionals or home day care providers. Students gain experience working in the licensed child care center on campus.
