Instructional Program (CIP)
Description
This program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, reconstruct and finish automobile bodies, fenders and external features. Inter-Industry Conference of Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) Enhanced Delivery Curriculum is used to meet industry standards. Areas of instruction include: structural, non-structural, mechanical, electrical, painting, refinishing, estimating damages, and safety. Students will learn to use modern hand and power tool equipment, computer estimating software, and to perform typical collision repair jobs. Students need a valid driver’s license to be able to fully participate in this program and to be employable in this career field.
