Description
This program provides background fundamentals for commercial and industrial graphic occupations through laboratory experiences and related study. Topics covered include: composition, electronic/desktop publishing, computer art, layout and design, darkroom procedures, use and operation of photographic equipment as related to printing, negative insertion (stripping), platemaking, offset press operation, and bindery operations. Related theory and technical study include the areas of printing materials, production, equipment, and introduction to digital printing.
