Description

The Fire Science program prepares graduates for entry-level firefighter positions with various emergency organizations, including fire departments, industry emergency response teams, and first responder agencies.
The program allows student to complete the International Fire Science Training Association (IFSTA) Firefighter I and II certifications, complete an Associate degree, and prepare for transfer to a bachelor degree program at an area university.
This program is designed to prepare students for careers in fire fighting, fire investigation, consulting, industrial safety, fire engineering and fire prevention.

Refund Policy

100% of tuition and fees may be refunded for Fall and Spring semesters if courses are dropped within five business days of the published session start date.  100% of tuition and fees may be refunded for Summer I, Summer II and Intercession semesters if courses are dropped within five business days of the published start date.   A student remains responsible for payment of tuition and fees if the drop occurs after the tuition refund date as indicated.
