Description
Early Childhood Education at Barton gives you the opportunity to make a difference for children and families. Barton is committed to your learning and academic success through exposure to the latest research, technology and networking opportunities with educational professionals. The program is developmental as it focuses on the cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and creative development of children ages birth through eight years and the planning of activities and programs that are developmentally
appropriate. Knowledge, theory, and practice are the foundations to the program. The State of Kansas Early Learning Standards is embedded in all Barton Early Childhood courses.
