Description
The Electrical Power Technician program is designed to prepare a student for a career as a line worker/lineman in the construction,
maintenance, and repair of electric utility overhead and underground
systems. Students combine classroom study and hands-on practical
experience. Over the course of the next few years, over half of the
nation’s 400,000 utility workers will become eligible for retirement.
This will create a strong job market for certified lineman entering
this work force.
