Description
Assembly Mechanics are employed in the aircraft manufacturing and service industry.
Instruction includes the fundamentals of assembly, meeting set standards, safety issues, use of common aircraft sheet metal tools, sealant application, math, blueprint reading, precision measurement, communication skills, business operations and environmental health and safety.
Students receive classroom instruction and demonstration as well as shop demonstration and performance.
