Description
Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) License Training to include Classroom, Pre-Trip, Skills and Driving. Classes begin every Monday and can be completed in 4 weeks/160 hours. Students will first become proficient in federal regulations to obtain permit, then begin the pre-trip, yard skills and road training. Once training is completed, they will test at the state level to obtain their CDL. Our experienced instructors are certified & give each student the attention needed to become a successful CDL driver. Graduates will have the opportunity to go to work immediately, in the industry. We work with national and local employers to assist our students in getting jobs at graduation and offer Trucker's Network app to connect CDL drivers with hiring companies.
CIP 49.0205 Description - Truck and Bus Driver/Commercial Vehicle Operation. A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to drive trucks and buses, delivery vehicles, for-hire vehicles and other commercial vehicles, or to instruct commercial vehicle operators. Includes instruction in operating gas, diesel, or electrically-powered vehicles; loading and unloading cargo or passengers; reporting delays or accidents on the road; verifying load against shipping papers; arranging transportation for personnel; and keeping records of receipts and fares.
