Description
Sewing Salon Training Program - consisting of up to 30 weeks of Related Training Instruction + 2000 hours of On The Job - Apprenticeship opportunities. The sewing instruction team have academic and "real life" training, knowledge and skills with years of manufacturing and production sewing experience
Training Includes:
Domestic Training - 12-15 weeks of Sewing Basics covering the Fundamental skills of sewing, Tool of the Trade, Basic Construction Skills and more.
Industrial Training - 15 - 18 weeks of Industrial Sewing Machine Operator skills using Straight Needle and Serger machines with added introduction on Blind Hemmer and Cover Stitch machines. Training includes production sewing on "live" products, site visits to local vetted employers.
Entrepreneurial Education business program - FDIC Smart Money for Small Business is lead by professionals & creative business owners to teach real life applications & supported reference booklets from FDIC program.

The Sewing Labs offers a limited number of partial and full scholarships for our program. Persons in need of financial assistance are welcome to complete a Scholarship Application. Please note - filling out this application does not guarantee scholarship assistance.
Refund Policy
The Sewing Labs reserves the right to cancel a class due to low attendance, weather or unforeseen circumstances. If student cancels a full class refund will be given 4 day before scheduled class. A credit will be issued 2-4 days before class. under 2 days - no refund or credit will be issued. No refund will be given for withdrawals made after course has started or for classes missed.
