Description
ELDT/CDL Training Course Information
Length: This training may be completed in 8 weeks. Completion time is contingent on the participants’ allocation of time, effort, and ability to the training.
Cost: $3,000 (If participating as part of an agreement with an employer, the employer may provide partial or full funding to pay for the participant.)
Training: The training will utilize face-to-face instruction as well as hands-on and behind-the-wheel training. Behind the Wheel (BTW) training will occur after the participant has successfully earned the state of Kansas Commercial Learners Permit.
Expected Outcomes
Outcome 1: Participants will complete the Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) theory requirements set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
Outcome 2: Participants will complete the Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) Behind the Wheel (BTW) requirements set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
Outcome 4: Participants will successfully pass the Kansas CDL knowledge exam and the Kansas CDL driving exam to earn the appropriate CDL and/or endorsements.

Registration Fee
$105.00 The registration fee includes the cost of the DOT physical and drug screen. Students must successfully pass both to be enrolled in the course. Non-refundable regardless of the outcome.
