Description
The Practical Nursing (PN) program is a one-year certificate program focused on completion of the Practical Nurse curriculum. The PN program is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level nursing positions with various healthcare organizations, including doctor’s offices, hospitals, and nursing homes. The program is designed to allow completion of the NCLEX-PN Examination and preparation to continue in the Registered Nurse associate degree program with the option to transfer to BSN programs at area universities. An active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate is required for PN students.

Refund Policy
100% of tuition and fees may be refunded for Fall and Spring semesters if courses are dropped within five business days of the published session start date. 100% of tuition and fees may be refunded for Summer I, Summer II and Intercession semesters if courses are dropped within five business days of the published start date. A student remains responsible for payment of tuition and fees if the drop occurs after the tuition refund date as indicated.
