Description
The primary goal of the CDL B to A program at Peaslee Tech is for each trainee to receive their CDL-A license in compliance with state and federal requirements. This course is intended to be used as a training program for trainees and professionals. The lessons will proceed in a pedagogical fashion to guide you in performing a pre-trip inspection, backing skills, driving skills, emergency stops and general knowledge of basic truck driving.
The premise of this course is that the more time you spend practicing the skills the better you will become at driving a combination vehicle. Attendance and practice are important for the success of the trainees on this course. This course does not attempt to cover all aspects of driving a truck but will prepare the trainee to be successful in taking the test to receive his/her CDL-A license.
