Description
This course will qualify the student to take the KDHE HHA certification exam. State certificaiton is required for employment of aides in Kansas home health agencies. Course work includes basic knowledge and adaptation of skills to help meet the pscyhosocial, physical, and environmental needs of an individual or family in their home. The HHA is prepared to give patient care under the supervision of a registerd nurse, licensed practical nurse, or physician. Services are provided all GCCC students.
