Description
This hands-on course is designed for high school students interested in exploring a variety of skilled trades, preparing them for potential careers in industries such as construction, electrical, plumbing, and more. Students will engage in practical activities that provide exposure to the tools, techniques, and safety practices essential for each trade. Throughout the course, students will develop foundational skills in problem solving, teamwork, and technical proficiency. By completing real-world projects and participating in simulations, students will gain a deep understanding of what it's like to work in skilled trades, helping them make informed decisions about their future career paths. The course will also emphasize the importance of safety, communication, and professionalism in the workplace, equipping students with the essential soft skills they need to succeed in any trade.
